Book summary:

Lydia is a herbalist. She loves being among the forest of Mulberry Glen, her home. She has live in the Glen her entire life, but no she is forced to leave it. Two other inhabitants of the Glen: twins Zale and Zamilla, have gone to search for Omnis Res Mundi, a fruit which can stop the oncoming Darkness.

The Darkness is threatening to take over all of the valleylands, and the only was to stop it is to cast the fruit of the mythical Omnis Res Mundi into the heart of the mountain.

Lydia, with the help of new friends Coran and Prehna, are going to try and stop the twins before they get themselves killed. But with the Darkness taking over, its going to be a bit harder then they thought.
