Book summary:
Prince Rashko’s life is normal and peaceful. He lives with his parents and older brother in their castle, Hladka Hvorka. Then, one fateful day, his mother and father disappear.
Since they aren’t the smartest people in the world, Rashko is quite worried about them. But then, to make things even worse, an uninvited Baron and his army make themselves at home at the castle, and Rashko is convinced that their intentions are not good.
As the Baron’s evil intentions make themselves known, and the king and queen are still nowhere to be found, Rashko must figure out what to do. But he does have the upper hand in one particular aspect: his castle has a secret. A magic one. One that can stop the Baron once and for all.

Thoughts: I really enjoyed this book! The plot was well-written, and the characters were great. Four out of five stars. (The library classified this book as “teen”, but the only teen-related thing in the book is that the main character is fifteen.)
