Book summary:
During the second World War, Hitler had plans to make his own museum, in which would reside hundreds, if not thousands, of works of art. How was Hitler to acquire that many pieces of art? Simple. Steal them from other museums, churches, and even from the homes of Jews.
A group of brave men and one woman were instructed to protect art. This group was called the Monuments Men. At first, the Monuments Men’s job was to make sure Allied bombs weren’t destroying famous monuments, but soon, priorities changed.
The Monuments Men were tasked with tracking down thousands of paintings, sculptures, and other works of art that the Nazis had stolen. But the war was ending, and time was of the essence. Can the Monuments Men find all the missing art before the Nazis destroy it?

Thoughts: Whenever I watch a movie that was based on a true story, I always look to see if the movie was based on a book. When I watched the movie The Monuments Men, I knew there had to be a book. And what an incredible book it is.
Movie review: The movie was so good! There was a lot more language in it, but basically its all the same content warnings as the book. A really good WW2 movie. It is rated PG-13. (I don’t know why is also has the title in French😂)
